Dear friends and family,
We are thrilled to finally announce that four months ago we officially tied the knot! On September 26th, 2022, we celebrated our union in a private and intimate ceremony. It was a day filled with love and happiness, and we were incredibly grateful to have shared it with each other.
We are excited to plan our wedding with all of you in the near future and can't wait to celebrate with everyone.

Behind the scenes
It is Wednesday, November 17th 2021 at 9:30 am in the morning; and Yana sitting in her chair at the office saw a stranger walk into the conference room to give his interview. At the time, she was incredulous as to why he would be speaking so loudly at 9:30 am in the morning in the conference room. She thought to herself, who is that guy, and why does it sound like he is refereeing a WWE Smackdown Raw tournament at 9:30 am in the morning?
Little did she know, two weeks later on December 1, 2021 their paths would cross again when Jorge was hired as an attorney and assigned to sit right next to her.
"HI I'M JORGE." Jorge immediately introduced himself and asked Yana to go to lunch with him the very next day. Yana took 3.7 seconds to deliberate, and said "sure." They walked and talked all of lunch until they decided on Pierogis, but before they could get their first bite of pierogi, a large group of Yamin's co-workers spotted Yana and Jorge dining and immediately spread the word that two love birds were in the making.
It was true. From that day on, Yana and Jorge were pretty much inseparable. They spent their free time debating the law, trying new restaurants, and going on adventures together. They quickly fell in love and decided to move in together.
Their love story is a reminder that sometimes, the most unexpected moments can lead to the most beautiful and lasting relationships. Yana and Jorge's love is proof that love can come in any form, and at any time. So, the next time you hear a loud stranger in the conference room, don't be too quick to judge, because you never know where your next love story might begin.
It took a bit of magic...
Fast forward, Jorge and Yana went to see "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" on Broadway for their first date. Given that Jorge did not watch any of the Harry Potter movies, he kept asking her which character was on stage. Yana would just answer "I don't know", but the reality was that she couldn't see without her glasses. Next up, they went to Boston, then, Yana lost her voice due to the cold, and arguably sounded like "a chainsaw" the entire trip. But through it all, Jorge was smitten with Yana's feisty and fierce spirit. The moral of that trip was: if this girl can sit at a table full of your lawyer-friends with a lost voice and can still debate the law - she is a keeper.
Jorge knew that Yana was the one for him, and on August 14th, 2022, he proposed to her in an intimate setting. Yana took 3.7 seconds to deliberate and said yes, but only conditionally if he promises to not exceed 2 pounds a week intake of salmon.
